Ideas are in fact creative or innovative thoughts that have purpose, meaning and power.

Discussion of the Quote:

An idea - “a thought or suggestion as to a possible course of action.” It is something that originates in the mind and most often or not it becomes a thing in the real world. The quote states that ideas are forces. A force is considered to be some material existence embedded in moving things. Therefore, moving objects are thought to have force. So, ideas can be considered as moving things.

Ideas are the basic representation of our knowledge of things and objectives. We can't create ideas; they are of the mind. But, they have the ability to produce action that will result in them coming into being within our lives in the form of things.

Final Thoughts:

Ideas create the basis for our performances. They can be good or bad ones. We should be mindful of the ones we get passionate about. We can become consumed by bad ideas which result in dangerous courses of action. However, when we become intoxicated with a great idea the result can be revolutionary.

Indeed, we can incorporate great ideas within our businesses which could have tremendous impact on the growth and development of our businesses. So, use good ideas as forces that can move our businesses along in the direction that we want them to go.
