Just a thought from my morning walk. Another one :)

Do you know how many possibilites there are to earn money? Being employed is just one of them and it's the one most of us start with. I was an employee for about 10 years after I gratudated. And I would never want that again.

Luckily, I lost my job 16 years ago. Why luckily? Before I would never have the guts to do it myself that time. I considered it a security. But there are no securities in this world. You have to take care of yourself, no company or government will take care of you.

Since that time, I am a freelancer. My main source of income are translations and additionaly, I give English lessons via skype.

I love my life. No stress in the morning. Every morning I can go for a walk for one hour with my dog. If I want to stay out for two hours, I can. No rush.

I wouldn't have such a life style if I was still employed.

You can have such a life too.

Are you a teacher who wants to work from home? You need people to find you so they can ask you for lessons. If you create a website, people will find you.

Are you a writer? Then you want as many people to get to read your work as possible, don't you? If you have a website, people will find you.

Are you an artisan? Do you create some artwork like paintings, sculptures, or do you knit or sew clothes? If you have a website people will find your amazing craftwork.

With a website hosted at WA and learning SEO well, you will reach your audience. You can live your dream doing just what you love.

Maybe you are not a creater though. You just love helping people with your knowledge and skills. Then you can do SEO for people who have their own website (or want to have one) and don't know anything about it. You can help them and get paid for that.

Wealthy Affiliate platform is great both for hosting your website(s) with its fast speed hosting and for learning how to do SEO well.

Each of us is good at something else. Each of us has a different dream - vision of the best future just for you.

Keep your vision alive. Never settle, never think that dream life is only for some.

You deserve the best life you dream about.

It might take one year, it might take five years. It doesn't matter. As long as you keep your dream alive, you are alive.

Just never give up.

Love
Lenka

Regarding your comment in the below, SEO for a person who has his own website means to make his website ranked by Google and get some traffic(previewed). In that case, his website need to transfer to my WA account? Then, I have to publish posts regularly? But his business is only for the local area, but WA is in global. In this case, WA is still usable for his local business ?

Thank you for posting an essential information.

To do SEO for someone who has got their own website up and running already, you don't have to transfer it to WA.
Let's say you have a friend who is a masseuse and has a website so that people can find her services. Her website is wordpress-based. If you know how to do SEO well (you can learn it at WA), you can do it for her. She would give you access to her wordpress dashboard and you could improve her already published posts and if you want, also write articles for her.
You don't have to add content all time.
There are some webinars by Jay about local SEO.
Another option is to create a website for someone and have it hosted at WA.

Does every website use same wordpress like WA has? I learned how to do SEO at level 1 lesson (I copied it in the below). Is this only one SEO lesson or am I going to learn more advanced one later? Thank you for your reply.

No, not every website is based on wordpress, there is also wix and other systems but wordpress is a renown system most online businesses use. If it is a wordpress website out of WA, the dashboard looks the same so when you learn how to work with wordpress, you can use it elsewhere.
The SEO in level one is very basic, there are better plugins for SEO than All-in-one SEO plugin, in my opinion. I use Yoast and RankMath, they are easy to use and show you all you need to do to improve your chance of a better rank.

Can you use both Yoast and RankMath free of charge? Right now I am working with Level 2 lessons. Does Kyle have more advanced SEO trainings here? I am going to check Jay's Local SEO webinars. I was told that I need to write and publish my post at least twice a week in order to get ranked, but with advanced SEO, I don't need to write that much, maybe once a week or even once a month? Could you tell me if my understanding is correct or not? Thank you very much.

No one can say with absolute certainty how we get ranked, it's google's decision. Both things are important, SEO and regular writing.

I haven't seen any advanced SEO trainings as part of Kyle's training. But maybe there are some trainings of other members. There's lots of knowledge of experienced members here.

Yes, both Yoast and RankMath are free plugins. Yoast is older and many members have experience with it so if you get stuck, you can always ask a question about it.

Thank you for your prompt reply and helping me.

You're welcome.

Good morning Lenka,

I hope you're doing well, it certainly sounds like you are!

It's great that you have found freedom in your life and you actually made it happen. I believe that we all have skills that we can use to help others and often we can create a business when we put our skills into practice. It sounds like you are using your skills, big time, Lenka!

I have been self-employed since 1983, I think I'm probably unemployable by now! I definitely agree with you that Wealthy Affiliate isn't only for affiliate marketers, it can also help you grow any type of business.

The Internet has really changed the way we do things and in general, I believe for the better. The Internet has helped me grow my off-line business very quickly, something, that I know from experience that I would not have been able to do before the Internet became available!

The Internet really enables us to promote our brand and to get it amongst thousands of people. Let's make the most of the Wealthy Affiliate training!

Have a great day.

Roy

Thank you for sharing, Roy! I think I'm unemployable too :) Now and then there is a month or two when my earnings drop because there are not enough translations. I used to think about getting a job again...but not anymore. There are so many possibilities and I don't want to work only for money. I want to enjoy life as well.

I hear you, Lenka, big time! If I have the occasional day when I feel like getting a job (it hasn't happened for a long time) I really have to think why would anyone want to work for someone? I love the freedom that self-employment brings, the nine till five drudge would bring me down, far too regimented!

I normally get up at 5 AM and start doing tasks, it's a great time to get work done, no phone calls or interruptions, normally! It's a privilege of being able to set my own work hours, I'm sure you know the feeling.

Have a great day.

Roy

Absolutely, the feeling of freedom is one of the best feelings one can have and I am so grateful to be able to have such a life.
Have a nice day too, Roy!
L.

Such an inspiring post, Lenka. I love this platform, as this allows me to share my knowledge on the web about operating a home business. Majority of my income thru my site are from ads and only a few are from affiliate marketing. So, you're right. This is not only for affiliate marketers, but also for start-up entrepreneurs as well. Owners of brick and mortar businesses.

So true, Gomez, it is actually for everyone who doesn't want to only go to job 9 to 5 and wishes to have a better life.

Appreciate the post, Lenka - I certainly had the experience of losing my job more than once in my life - but wasn't aware of affiliate marketing at the time. I'm not sure if I would have the courage at the time to make that leap, especially without any security.

But I've definitely gained a lot more courage since joining WA and taking that first step into my first niche. I'm putting in the hard work on my dreams and will not give up so easily.

Thanks for the post!
Isaiah 😊

I know you've been working hard, Isaiah, and I'm sure it will pay off.
I would probably never have had the courage to leave that "secure" job I had. Having a mortgage, you have to have the means to pay it off. But luckily they decided it for me :)
Stay well and take care!

Thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts with us today, Lenka.

I have been staying home since I moved to the USA in June 2016. I am teaching English online. The flexibility in creating our own schedules is what I love from that job. Honestly, I don't know how I would feel if I go back to work the 9 to 5 schedules.

Luckily, I found Wealthy Affiliate, it helps me to have more sense of freedom and even though it is a slow steady process, I enjoy every second of it.

Once again thank you.

Have a great week ahead.

Ferra

That's nice that you are an English teacher too, Ferra!
I can't imagine working 9 to 5 anymore either. That's not life, it's surviving, to me. We are lucky, aren't we.
